What is a domain name or DNS ?
What is a domain name?.. Why I need one?... Back to the examples... Let's assume for a moment that you already have a web hosting web for your pages and that they all are already perfectly available to be seen ... only you must provide to your "clients" the direction where finding the index or the first page of your web ... and the direction is ...http://www.freeserverwebhosting.com/user137275/website/index.html ..... hummm ... something wrong here ... rigth?...because to remember this direction is not an easy thing to do... and what we need really is an address that is easy to remember .. slightly like www.google.com .. something sticky ... and there it brings in the DNS ... the DNS is what allows us to turn the irremediable and unbearable long name of our home page into some good and easy to remember and to spread like www.mynewwebsite.com .. that's why we need DNS...
